    Training Arrangements

    The theory component is provided through supervised structured online mode delivery and will include online theory and work placement, as per the session plan, simulation training and self-paced structured e-learning.

    Assessment Arrangements

    AIE ensures that you have a mixture of practical and theoretical components, and those classes cater for a wide variety of learning styles.

    Additionally, workplace practices and environments will be regularly simulated and used to conduct skills-based assessments in accordance with unit requirements.

    Homework tasks may include research, readings from related textbooks and continuing to work on assessment tasks.

    IT Specifications:

    You need a computer or device with at least 8GB of RAM and a processor running at 1.5GHz or faster.

    Ensure a stable connection with a minimum download speed of 2MBPS and an upload speed of 0.5MBPS.

    You should have Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and a PDF reader like Adobe Acrobat installed.

    Your operating system should be Microsoft Windows 8 or newer, or Mac OS version 10 or newer.

    Entry Requirements

    • Prospective students must be at least 18 years of age.
    • To assist prospective students to determine whether a course is suitable and appropriate for their individual needs, Angel Institute will conduct a Pre-Training Review.
    • Required to complete the Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment, administered by and to the satisfaction of Angel Institute.
    • Must be currently employed in the aged care industry
